Fantastic little cafe Read More
We were looking for somewhere to eat along the promenade on Bank holiday Monday with hubby and our 7 year old daughter. I am a bit “funny” about cleanliness, and won’t eat just anywhere. Bins outside were overflowing with litter, so I really wasn’t holding out much hope for any of the local places, but as soon as we walked in I was pleasantly surprised. Tables looked clean, did a quick assessment of the cleanliness by looking at the vinegar bottles, no greasy smudges on the glass, no marks on the salt and pepper things either, floor, walls clean.... yep we can stay! Staff were really pleasant, attentive, efficient. Our daughter was given a colour-in page and some crayons, which she was so pleased with, and it kept her good until her food arrived. Food was gorgeous, gammon cooked to perfection, decent runny fried egg, hubby enjoyed his all day breakfast. Quite big portions, really good value for money.
I usually have to wipe our table down when we eat out, there was no need for that here. Thank you!

Not sure why I have waited to leave a review. Found this cafe on our holidays about 18 months ago and we go everytime we are in Wales! If we are staying locally we will visit 3 times within the week. If we arent that local we will drive out to it at least once.
Staff are very attentive and there are lots of them, prices are reasonable, food is delicious and hot, extensive menu, colouring sheets for the kids.
Totally faultless, even cater to requests not on the menu, eg. Chips and cheese or meatless roast with veggie gravy.
Should have left a review a long time ago!
